Sesame Sugar Snap Peas
















Sesame Sugar Snap Peas

8 ounces sugar snap peas
1 tablespoon sesame seeds, half black/half white
2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
salt and pepper, to taste

Toast the sesame seeds together in a small skillet until you can see the white seeds turning golden brown; remove from heat and place in a small dish.
Steam the sugar snap peas until tender crisp, four to five minutes. Drain and return to pan. Drizzle with the sesame oil and add the toasted sesame seeds. Toss to coat; season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve warm or at room temperature.

2 to 4 servings
