German Pancake















German Pancake

1 stick butter
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
6 eggs
1 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Put butter in a 9x13" baking dish and put into hot oven to melt. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in a blender and blend well. When the oven is preheated and the butter is melted pour batter into hot pan. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with syrup if desired.

This recipe is easily halved and baked in an 8" square pan (as shown).
